Centennial, CO (July 21, 2010) – Johnson Storage & Moving Co., a national relocation services business located here, announced the formation of its new commercial services business, providing customized moving & storage solutions for companies across the U.S. The new enterprise, called Johnson Commercial Solutions (”JCS”), will offer a suite of specialized services designed to facilitate seamless turn-key moves in complex situations.

JCS has recruited a team of seasoned specialists experienced in healthcare, rigging, industrial, and multi-location moves. The new team has more than 100 years of collective experience in helping businesses execute complex high stakes moves in a time sensitive arena.

JCS announced that it has recruited Denver native Melissa Chaffin as its Vice President of Commercial Services to lead its sales effort here. “Melissa has more than 17 years of experience in helping businesses with complex moves and her ability consult with operations makes her an indispensable asset for clients in this area,” said Johnson’s Executive Vice President, Don Hindman.

In addition, JCS announced that it has promoted two of its General Managers to head-up national accounts, offering coast-to-coast solutions for businesses relocating distribution centers, factories, or other large facilities requiring just-in-time service. Jim Bargeron has been promoted to Vice President of Logistics to spearhead this effort. Jim will be assisted by Harry Tokle, JCS’s Director of Logistics Support. This new team provides a mobile “swat team” of 65 commercial moving specialists for seamless technical moves in extremely time sensitive circumstances to get clients back up and running in the shortest possible time frame. “We are proud of the consulting services that Jim and his team provide for national companies seeking to optimize their footprint or consolidate facilities. Jim sees the forest through the trees and enables companies to focus on running their business while we handle the logistics,” said Hindman.

NAMES NEW GENERAL MANAGER

RICK BROWN

CENTENNIAL, CO—July 19, 2010-Johnson Storage & Moving Co.-agent of United Van Lines, the nation’s largest moving company- is pleased to announce that Rick Brown has joined Johnson Storage & Moving Co. as General Manager of Johnson agent 726 in Kenner, LA.

 “This is a great time to join Johnson and I am very excited to be part of the team.  I look forward to helping strengthen Johnson services and operations and expand our market share in the New Orleans area,” said Brown.

Brown has over twenty-five years experience in the moving and storage industry.  He held the position of General Manager for Graebel Van Lines in New Orleans, Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C.

Brown attended the University of Michigan and is International Office Moving Institute (IOMI) certified.
